Dealing with Britain's Drink Problem
Charlotte Cornish, Managing Director of FDS International, will be speaking at the M&C Alcohol and Social Responsibility conference. The conference, taking place at Claridges in London on the 21st May, and will discuss a range of complex issues that surround the sale and promotion of Alcohol. The subject of Britain's alcohol problem is of great controversy in the media and is currently very high on the political agenda, with further legislation and regulation on the political horizon.
Charlotte is going to be lending her experience to discuss the 'Anatomy of a Binge Drinker'. FDS International recently conducted a survey of 500 18 to 24 year olds, exploring links between relationships, peer groups and alcohol consumption. Using the data from this survey, Charlotte will be offering fact-based opinion on what leads people to habitually drink heavily and from there go on to be an anti-social or 'binge drinker'.
